I just met a Hungarian woman in Panera Bread. She told me about an out of body experience.
And being the polite young man I am, I listened intently. She discussed a morning many years ago when she was in her twenties where a bright being of loving light greeted her from the foot of her bed and took her to the heavens. She explained how she met the Heavenly Father and learned we are all majestic spirits bound within human bodies. And we discussed my Touchpad and a bit of physics.
Fifteen minutes of my life spent being cornered by a stranger with beliefs and opinions that would, on a more cynical day, see her classified among the doom-sayers and other religious freaks. But today I listened and learned what I could from someone so different from my day-to-day contacts I am more surprised by the meeting itself than it’s content.
Do I think we are all full of an undying, majestic spirit that strives to always win in life and pull others around us toward victory? Not really. But I know a lady named Magdalena that does, and I think I’m better for it.
